In an official statement, the company announced plans for reprints of high-demand products and emphasized their commitment to improving product availability for fans.

The launch of the newest set, Pokémon TCG: Scarlet & Violet - Destined Rivals, was marred by shortages, pre-order issues, and scalping activities. In their statement on the official Pokémon website, The Pokémon Company acknowledged the difficulties fans face in purchasing certain TCG products due to overwhelming demand. "We understand this inconvenience can be disappointing for fans, and we are actively working to print more of the impacted Pokémon TCG products as quickly as possible and at maximum capacity to address this," the statement explained. They assured fans that reprints would be available at participating retailers soon.

The company also committed to increasing production for future TCG expansions to ensure better availability at launch and promised to continue reprinting affected products to restock the Pokémon Center.

In response to scalping, The Pokémon Company indirectly addressed the issue by highlighting their efforts to enhance the purchasing experience at the Pokémon Center. They employ technology, including a virtual queue system during high-traffic periods, to prioritize fans.
