The Pokémon Company addresses ongoing shortages of its highly anticipated Prismatic Evolutions expansion for the Pokémon Trading Card Game (TCG). Acknowledging widespread supply issues impacting global availability, including the US, the company issued a statement expressing gratitude for fans' patience.

The statement confirmed that reprints of Prismatic Evolutions products are currently underway and will soon be distributed to licensed retailers. While the exact timeframe remains unspecified, the company assures fans that they are working at maximum capacity to address the high demand. The statement avoids directly addressing speculation regarding scalping as a contributing factor, simply citing "high demand" as the cause of the shortages.

Beyond reprints, the Pokémon Company promises additional Prismatic Evolutions products in the coming months. This includes previously announced releases such as a Mini Tin and Surprise Box (February 7th), a Booster Bundle and Accessory Pouch Special Collection (March 7th and April 25th respectively), a Super-Premium Collection (May 16th), and a Premium Figure Collection (September 26th). Players of the Pokémon TCG Live mobile game can also obtain Prismatic Evolutions cards via the Battle Pass, starting January 16th. The company reiterates its commitment to resolving the supply issues and ensuring wider availability of the popular expansion.
