Taking Place in Los Angeles and New Taipei

From February 21-23, 2025, Pokémon GO fans can immerse themselves in the lore of Pokémon Black Version, Pokémon White Version, Pokémon Black Version 2, and Pokémon White Version 2 at two iconic venues: Los Angeles' Rose Bowl Stadium and New Taipei's Metropolitan Park. The event is designed to bring the Unova region to life with distinct habitats like Winter Caverns, Spring Soiree, Summer Vacations, and Autumn Masquerade, each showcasing a variety of Unova-native Pokémon. Trainers can look forward to catching different variants of shiny Deerling, which change depending on the habitat and time of day.

Ticket holders at both locations will have the opportunity to encounter Shiny Meloetta through Masterwork Research, along with the chance to hatch Shiny variants of Sigilyph, Bouffalant, and others. Keep your eyes peeled for shiny Pikachu sporting unique headwear, which can be found via Field Research.

The event will also feature legendary Pokémon Reshiram and Zekrom as Five-Star Raid bosses, with Druddigon appearing in Three-Star Raids, and Snivy, Tepig, and Oshawott available in One-Star Raids, all with increased chances of encountering their shiny forms.

Tickets for this thrilling event are currently available at a discounted rate for a limited time. In Los Angeles, tickets are priced at $25 USD, and in New Taipei, they cost $630 NT. Enhance your experience with various ticket add-ons, which offer unique bonuses such as an extra 5,000 XP after completing a raid.

The event will run from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time in both locations (US - PST and Taiwan - GMT+8). Attendees can also enjoy various booths and team lounges, offering exclusive merchandise and a place to unwind after a day of Pokémon adventures.

For those unable to attend the in-person event, Pokémon GO Tour: Unova - Global will be held on March 1-2, allowing all trainers to explore the Unova region for free.

Pokémon GO City Safari Launching This December 2024

Just over a week away, on December 7-8, Pokémon GO City Safari will launch in Hong Kong and São Paulo, Brazil, running from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. local time. This citywide adventure invites ticket-holding trainers to join Professor Willow and Eevee in uncovering the mystery behind Pokémon.

At the start of the event, trainers will receive a special Eevee wearing an explorer hat. Evolving this Eevee into forms like Sylveon or Jolteon requires 25 Eevee candy, and the evolutions will retain the same hat. By participating in the Eevee Explorers Expedition, trainers can earn an additional Eevee wearing the explorer hat, for a total of two.

During the event, special Pokémon like Galarian Slowpoke, Unown P, Clamperl, and more will appear in the wild. Some Pokémon, such as Oricorio (Pom-Pom Style and Sensu Style), Swablu, and Skiddo, can only be found through hatching eggs. Additionally, unique Pokémon encounters will vary depending on the event location.

To aid in your exploration of Hong Kong or São Paulo, maps will be provided, and participants will receive a Pikachu or Eevee visor to protect them from the sun, available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Tickets for Pokémon GO City Safari are priced at R$45 in São Paulo and $10 USD in Hong Kong. Trainers can also purchase ticket add-ons for additional items and an increased chance of encountering Shiny Pokémon.
