Pokémon GO: New Beloved Buddies Event Strengthens Bonds

Pokémon GO's Beloved Buddies event is bringing a wave of excitement, including surprise Pokémon debuts, boosted rewards, and challenging raids! This heartwarming event focuses on strengthening your bond with your Pokémon companions, running from February 11th to 15th.

Get Ready for Dhelmise's Debut!

The star of the show? Dhelmise, the Sea Creeper Pokémon, is finally making its Pokémon GO debut! Prepare to encounter and catch this unique Pokémon in raids.

Double XP and Extended Lure Modules

Catching Pokémon during the event will earn you double XP, and Lure Modules will be extended to a full hour! These boosted lures will attract a variety of Pokémon, including Diglett, Slowpoke, Shellder, Dunsparce, Cutiefly, and Fomantis. Catch any of these, and you'll receive an extra 500 Stardust as a bonus!

Increased Shiny Rates and Wild Pokémon Encounters

A host of Pokémon will be appearing more frequently in the wild, including increased shiny rates for Diglett and Dunsparce! Keep an eye out for Nidoran, Diglett, Slowpoke, Shellder, Dunsparce, Remoraid, Mantine, Plusle, Minun, Volbeat, Illumise, Cutiefly, and Fomantis.

Raid Battles: From One-Star to Mega!

Raids offer a variety of challenges:

  • One-Star Raids: Shellder, Dwebble, and Skrelp (with an increased shiny rate for Skrelp).
  • Three-Star Raids: Slowbro, Hippowdon, and the debuting Dhelmise.
  • Five-Star Raids: Enamorus (Incarnate Forme).
  • Mega Raids: Mega Tyranitar.
