The Bug Out event is making its exciting return to Pokémon Go, bringing with it a delightful swarm of Bug-type Pokémon and introducing Sizzlipede and its evolution, Centiskorch. Mark your calendars for March 26th to 30th, as this event promises a thrilling mix of wild encounters, raids, bonuses, and new challenges to keep you engaged.

Lure Modules will be crucial during the Bug Out event in Pokémon Go. Not only will they attract Sizzlipede, but they'll also increase the number of Pokémon appearing at a PokéStop if you manage to catch enough using a single Lure Module.

You'll also have the chance to earn double XP and extra Candy for Nice Throws or better, with enhanced Candy XL chances for trainers at level 31 and above. Shiny hunters, rejoice! Your odds of encountering Shiny Wurmple and Shiny Venipede will be significantly boosted during this event.

Expect to see a variety of Bug-types swarming in the wild, including favorites like Caterpie, Weedle, Wurmple, Nincada, Venipede, Dwebble, Joltik, Grubbin, Dewpider, and Nymble. Keep your eyes peeled—you might even spot the elusive Cutiefly.

Sizzlipede will be featured in one-star raids, alongside Scyther and Nincada, while three-star raids will showcase Beedrill, Scizor, and Kleavor. Completing event-themed Field Research tasks will reward you with Mega Energy, Scatterbug Candy, and encounters with event Pokémon.

Don't miss the opportunity to participate in the free Timed Research, which includes encounters with Shedinja, Sizzlipede, Kleavor, and more, along with a Lure Module. For those looking for additional rewards, there's a Paid Timed Research option available for $2 (or the local equivalent), offering encounters with Heracross, Sizzlipede, and Kleavor, plus two Premium Battle Passes and an extra Lure Module.

New Collection Challenges will reward you with Stardust, XP, and Pokémon encounters, while PokéStop Showcases will spotlight event-themed Pokémon. Make sure to visit the in-game shop to grab the new Sizzlipede Boots and a Scolipede Jacket to complete your Bug Out look.
