The Pokémon Company has exciting news for fans: a Pokémon Presents event is scheduled to deliver updates on the beloved franchise. Mark your calendars for February 27, 2025, as you can tune in live on the Pokémon YouTube channel at 6am Pacific Time, 9am Eastern Time, or 2pm UK Time. This event is set to celebrate Pokémon Day, and while the exact content remains a mystery, anticipation is high.

Fans are eagerly awaiting any news on the next mainline Pokémon game, which has yet to be officially announced. Although a spin-off, Pokémon Legends: Z-A, is slated for release in 2025, the next "generation" of the Pokémon series remains under wraps. The Pokémon Presents events are known for covering a broad spectrum of the franchise, including updates on ongoing games like Pokémon Unite, Pokémon Sleep, Pokémon GO, and Pokémon Masters EX. Additionally, expect to hear more about the newly launched Pokémon TCG Pocket and updates on the physical Pokémon Trading Card Game.

Reflecting on last year's event, the Pokémon Presents provided a wealth of information, including the announcement of Pokémon Legends: Z-A, details on Tera Raid Battle events for Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, and news about the Pokémon Trading Card Game coming to mobile platforms. Interestingly, 2024 marked a departure from the norm, featuring only one Pokémon Presents and no major Pokémon game release, a trend not seen since 2015.
