RuneScape has launched its highly anticipated Group Ironman mode! For RuneScape members, this challenging new mode offers iconic quests, intense boss battles, and a fresh set of team-based achievements.

What is Group Ironman Mode?

Team up with two to five friends for hardcore cooperative gameplay. While retaining many of the classic Ironman mode restrictions (no Grand Exchange, handouts, or XP boosts), Group Ironman loosens the reins, allowing collaboration. Resource gathering, crafting, skill development, and combat all rely on strong teamwork.

This mode allows groups to participate in specific minigames, Distractions and Diversions, and access unique group-exclusive content. A new island, the Iron Enclave, serves as the central hub for Group Ironman players.

Competitive Group Ironman: A More Intense Challenge

For a more competitive experience, RuneScape also introduces Competitive Group Ironman. This mode tests your group's self-reliance, prohibiting assistance from outside players. Several group-oriented activities are restricted, including: Blast Furnace, Conquest, Deathmatch, Fishing Trawler, Fist of Guthix, The Great Orb Project, Heist, Pest Control, Soul Wars, Stealing Creation, and Trouble Brewing.
