Maintaining footwear in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 is crucial; worn-out shoes leave you vulnerable. This guide details how to acquire and repair shoes.

Acquiring Shoes:

While you begin with a pair, replacements are readily available. Loot chests and fallen enemies (poachers, etc.) for potential finds. Alternatively, purchase shoes from vendors. Tailors offer shoes, but cobblers provide superior options. Locate cobblers using their map icon (three red circles); one is found early in Trosky. Cobblers, like Matthew in Trosky, also sell horse equipment, blacksmith's kits, and cobbler's kits.

Repairing Shoes:

Two methods exist: NPC repair or self-repair. Cobblers and blacksmiths offer repair services; the cost depends on your Craftsmanship skill level (perks provide discounts).

Self-repair requires a Cobbler's Kit, obtainable from various vendors (including cobblers and blacksmiths), chests, or looted NPCs. Access your inventory, select the kit, and use the interact key ("E" on PC). A menu appears, listing repairable items. Faded items indicate insufficient Craftsmanship skill. Select items and use the interact key again to repair.
