In *Pokémon GO*, the Spotlight Hour event occurs every Tuesday, bringing a fresh spotlight on a different Pokémon each week. This guide zeroes in on the Roselia Spotlight Hour, offering players a chance to snag rewards and possibly encounter the elusive Shiny version of the featured Pokémon. Plus, by transferring extra catches, players can amass enough candies to evolve their Pokémon fully.

Roselia Spotlight Hour Guide

Mark your calendars for January 14th, 2025, as the Roselia Spotlight Hour kicks off from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Gear up with berries, Pokéballs, and incense to maximize your gains during this event. Roselia, the star of the week, offers a x2 Catch XP bonus, providing a golden opportunity to level up swiftly.

Roselia, a Grass and Poison-type Pokémon from the Hoenn region (Generation 3), boasts a maximum Combat Power of 2114 CP, with 186 Attack and 131 Defense. It's part of a three-stage evolution: starting as Budew and evolving into Roselia with 25 Candies, then transforming into Roserade with 100 Candies and a Sinnoh Stone.

Catching Roselia rewards players with three candies and 100 Stardust. In *Pokémon GO*, Roselia can be traded and transferred to *Pokémon Home*. Being vulnerable to Fire, Flying, Ice, and Psychic-type attacks, it takes 160% more damage from these. Conversely, it resists Electric, Fairy, Fighting, and Water-type attacks (63% reduced damage), with Grass-type attacks offering the least damage reduction at 39%. For the best performance, equip Roselia with Poison Jab and Sludge Bomb, achieving 10.96 DPS and 99.91 TDO, especially potent under Cloudy weather conditions.

The hunt for a Shiny Roselia is on during this Spotlight Hour. To boost your chances, deploy incense and use berries strategically to secure that vibrant catch. A Shiny Roselia stands out with its brighter green body and striking purple and black roses.
