Expecting a standard 30-second message, the fan was overwhelmed to receive a heartfelt video that lasted over six minutes. Conroy, touched by the fan's story, went beyond a formal response, delivering words of encouragement that became a lifeline for the fan during some of life's darkest moments.

The story surfaced on Reddit, where the fan explained how the game's conclusion, where Batman confronts his fears, paranoia, and hallucinations, resonated deeply with his own struggles with schizophrenia. Inspired by the Dark Knight's resilience, the fan reached out to Conroy, sharing his condition and how the character's journey gave him the strength to persevere.
