Get ready to rumble! Sonic and friends are ditching their usual high-speed escapades for a chaotic party game experience reminiscent of Fall Guys, in the upcoming title Sonic Rumble. Following a closed beta test (CBT) in May, Sonic Rumble is now entering its pre-launch phase.
Sonic Rumble Pre-Launch Rollout:
SEGA has launched the first phase of the Sonic Rumble pre-launch in the Philippines, available on both Android and iOS. This initial phase will run throughout the summer, after which all gameplay data will be reset.
Phase 2 of the pre-launch will expand to Peru and Colombia in the fall. Further regions will be added in Phase 3, with details to be announced later.
Global pre-registration is planned for late 2024 or early 2025, following these regional pre-launch phases. The timing suggests a desire to capitalize on the recent success of Fall Guys.
Gameplay:
Sonic Rumble offers a collection of mini-games packed with zany obstacles and challenges. Play solo or team up with friends to compete. However, unlike the straightforward race to the finish line in Fall Guys, Sonic Rumble incorporates classic Sonic villains like Dr. Eggman into the mix, adding a unique twist to the familiar formula. Expect plenty of obstacle dodging, but be prepared for unexpected villain encounters that might disrupt your progress.
Philippine players can download Sonic Rumble now from the Google Play Store.
