The new year has brought a fresh wave of excitement for *Pokemon GO* trainers with the introduction of new Pokemon to catch. Following the addition of Fidough, Shroodle is set to make its debut in the game, though it won't be as simple as finding it in the wild.
The Toxic Mouse Pokemon, Shroodle, makes its first appearance in *Pokemon GO* on January 15, 2025, during the Fashion Week: Taken Over event. Initially introduced in *Pokemon Scarlet & Violet*, Shroodle is a relatively new face in the Pokemon world. After its debut event, trainers will continue to have opportunities to add this Pokemon to their collections.
At its initial release, Shroodle will not have a Shiny variant available in *Pokemon GO*. Fans can expect its Shiny form to be introduced in future updates, possibly during an event focused on Poison-type Pokemon or related to Team GO Rocket activities.

Since Shroodle is exclusively available via 12KM eggs, knowing how to obtain these eggs is crucial. In *Pokemon GO*, 12KM eggs are among the rarest and can only be acquired by defeating Team GO Rocket Leaders or Giovanni in battle. The Taken Over event provides an excellent opportunity to stock up on these eggs, as Team GO Rocket will be more active, and Rocket Radars will be easier to obtain. Trainers can battle GO Rocket Grunts at any time to challenge Sierra, Arlo, and Cliff, earning a 12KM egg as long as they have space in their inventory.
*Pokemon GO is available to play now*.
