The latest trailer for The Fantastic Four: First Steps offers an exciting glimpse into the new Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) world, spotlighting the pivotal role of Julia Garner’s Silver Surfer. This two-and-a-half-minute clip showcases how Mister Fantastic (Pedro Pascal), the Invisible Woman (Vanessa Kirby), The Thing (Ebon Moss-Bachrach), and the Human Torch (Joseph Quinn) have transformed their universe into a thriving utopia. In this setting, Marvel’s First Family is not only revered as a growing team of heroes who heroically save the day, but they also serve as inspirational figures for both children and adults. However, their peaceful existence is soon threatened when Garner’s Silver Surfer descends from the sky to deliver a chilling warning about an impending danger: Galactus.

PlayCompared to previous footage, today's trailer is packed with more intense action sequences. We see Ben Grimm, also known as The Thing, smashing through pillars, and get an impressive display of Reed Richards' stretchy abilities. These scenes offer fresh interpretations of the classic powers the Fantastic Four have wielded for decades, promising a thrilling look at their teamwork when the film hits theaters this July.

Julia Garner's portrayal of Silver Surfer truly steals the spotlight in this trailer. Despite her minimal dialogue, warning that this alternate Earth is now "marked for death," her character exudes immense power as she effortlessly fends off the Human Torch and races through fiery explosions. While the trailer keeps Galactus' full appearance under wraps, we catch a glimpse of him ominously stomping through the city upon his arrival.
