The festivities have already commenced with a new update. This update addresses various bugs, boasts a revamped main menu, and features performance enhancements. Several classic homes in Willow Creek and Oasis Springs have also received a stylish makeover. These updated houses are available immediately in new games, and accessible via the library for existing saves.

The main anniversary celebration begins February 4th. A significant update will introduce over 70 free items! Simultaneously, a new in-game event, "Blast from the Past," launches, offering players retro-themed rewards through a series of challenges. Completing these missions unlocks stylish throwback items and a brand-new collectible set.
Further enhancing the celebration, a new season called "Motherlode" starts February 6th in The Sims 4. Specific details about this season's content are yet to be revealed.
