Sleeping plays a crucial role in *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2*, not just for resting but also for healing your health back to 100% without relying heavily on food and potions. Here’s a guide on where you can catch some Zs in the game.
Once you step into the open world of *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2*, securing a bed becomes a top priority. During the Wedding Crashers quest, you have the option to follow either the blacksmith or the miller's storyline. Both paths lead to a bed, courtesy of Radovan or Kreyzl, respectively.
In my experience, choosing Radovan was the more convenient choice as he’s located in Tachov, which is closer to your starting point. Make your way to Tachov, engage with Radovan's questline, and complete the smithing tutorial. Once done, you'll have access to a room next to the forge where you can sleep.
The bed in this room will be marked as yours on the world map, and there's also an inventory chest available for storing your belongings. Whenever you need to heal up, return to this spot for a good night’s sleep.
There will be moments when returning to your bed isn't feasible. Fortunately, *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2* offers numerous campsites scattered along roadsides and in forests. Some might be occupied by bandits, requiring you to clear them out before using the facilities, while others might be vacant.
When you discover a campsite, it will be marked on your map, and you can use the bedrolls to sleep. Keep in mind, the comfort level won't match that of a regular bed, but it will suffice in a pinch.
In dire situations, you might consider sleeping in NPCs’ beds. However, if caught, you'll need to smooth-talk your way out of trouble or face the consequences with the guards.
And there you have it, your guide to getting some rest in *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2*. For more tips and in-depth information on the game, including how to use a torch and the best perks to prioritize, be sure to visit The Escapist.
