A mere glance at the impressive prowess of one of Elden Ring's most celebrated players, Let Me Solo Her, is enough to humble even the mightiest Tarnished. Yet, this champion faced significant challenges against one of FromSoftware's most formidable adversaries, Bloodborne's Orphan of Kos.
Let Me Solo Her first gained fame in the Elden Ring community in April 2022, when he donned the persona of a loincloth-clad, jar-headed messiah, providing much-needed assistance to the countless players struggling with the RPG's notorious optional boss, Malenia, Blade of Miquella.
By his own account, since then, he has logged over 1,200 hours and clashed with Malenia thousands of times. His dedication has cemented his legendary status within the Elden Ring community, culminating in FromSoftware honoring him with a real sword.
In a recent video, Let Me Solo Her shared his experience after finally acquiring a PS5 to participate in the Elden Ring Nightreign playtest, which allowed him to dive into the fan-favorite Bloodborne. Despite his extensive experience with FromSoftware games, he encountered significant difficulties with some of Bloodborne's most notorious bosses.
After adjusting to the reduced framerate — Elden Ring runs at 60 frames per second (fps), while Bloodborne operates at 30 fps — and the game's intense atmosphere, and experiencing the common rite of passage of dying to the werewolf in the clinic, Let Me Solo Her documented his entire journey through Bloodborne, including its DLC.
"Finally, I encountered the Orphan of Kos. Every Soulsborne game with a DLC features that ultimate boss who feels overwhelmingly powerful," he remarked. "We had Promised Consort Radahn in Elden Ring, Slave Knight Gael in Dark Souls 3, and Manus, Father of the Abyss in Dark Souls 1. And Orphan of Kos was that boss for Bloodborne.
"This boss required more attempts than any previous fights, prompting me to explore Chalice Dungeons off-stream to farm Blood Vials and bullets for replenishment," Let Me Solo Her noted (thanks, GamesRadar+). "Without a doubt, he's the toughest boss in Bloodborne for me."
