Sonic Rumble Pre-Release Event: Monkey Ball, Altered Beast Crossover

While the global release of Sonic Rumble is set for May 8th, fans won't have to wait that long to dive into its first exciting crossover event. This isn't just any crossover; it's a celebration of Sega's legendary characters from past and present, making it a must-see for fans of the brand.

Interestingly, this event kicks off before the worldwide launch, and it's available to those in regions where Sonic Rumble is currently in soft launch. From now until May 7th, players can claim the Werewolf character from the classic game Altered Beast at no cost.

For those who subscribe to the Sega Star Event Pass, there's even more to enjoy. You'll unlock the Weredragon, another character from Altered Beast, along with Opa-Opa, the original Sega mascot from the arcade hit Fantasy Zone.

But that's not all! The in-game Ring Shop offers additional characters like Upa-Upa and the Werebear. Meanwhile, the Red Star Ring Shop features characters from Super Monkey Ball, including AiAi and MeeMee, available for purchase.
