Beyond standard firearms, unique weapons with enhanced stats and modifications await discovery, including the Cavalier sniper rifle. This distinctive weapon features a red-dot sight instead of a traditional scope, making it exceptionally effective at close to medium ranges. Here's how to acquire this valuable asset.

Acquiring the Cavalier Sniper Rifle

The Cavalier Sniper Rifle is located within the Duga base, near the Military Unit. Specifically, it's hidden inside a warehouse connected to a greenhouse. If you've previously retrieved the Journalist stash in this area, accessing the warehouse via the secondary entrance should be straightforward.

Accessing the Warehouse

Upon entering the Duga base, proceed towards the Military Unit building (as indicated on your map). Circumnavigate the building to reach the greenhouse at its rear. Beware of two Pseudogiants patrolling this area; they'll attack on sight. Approach the greenhouse cautiously to avoid unnecessary conflict.

Once inside the greenhouse, you'll enter the warehouse. Be prepared for a swarm of rats upon entry. To avoid sustained damage, utilize the elevated green platforms at the warehouse's rear. A grenade can quickly eliminate the rodent threat.

Retrieving the Cavalier

After dispatching the rats, examine the warehouse ceiling above the greenhouse entrance. You'll notice yellow-painted wooden boards. Destroy these boards with your weapon to dislodge the Cavalier sniper rifle.

After securing the weapon, safely exit the Duga base. The Cavalier can be further upgraded by Screw, the technician at Rostok base. Its high damage and accuracy, further enhanced through upgrades and modifications, make it a formidable weapon. The red-dot sight makes it ideal for players who prefer a scope-less sniper rifle, enabling effective engagement in close to medium-range encounters.
