Recent claims suggest the project may have been indefinitely halted, dashing the hopes of many fans. Smith, via his X account, alleges that development on the SW: KotOR Remake has ceased, contradicting Saber Interactive's 2024 statement that work was ongoing. He further claims that some team members have been reassigned, while others have been let go.
