Week 2 of The Sims 4's Blast from the Past event presents a puzzling challenge: studying a Historical Display. This guide clarifies how to complete this seemingly simple, yet surprisingly problematic, task.

Locating a Historical Display:

The Week 2 quest requires interaction with a Historical Display, found within museums. While several exist, the Municipal Museum in Willow Creek and The Future's Past in Oasis Springs offer convenient proximity to other event tasks. Identify museums on your map by their pillar icon. Both paintings and sculptures qualify as Historical Displays.

Completing the Task:

Once inside a museum, locate a painting or sculpture. Clicking on it will present a "View" option. Selecting "View" completes the quest, indicated by the appearance of the Emit icon.

Troubleshooting Common Issues:

Many players report difficulties with the "View" option, often linked to mods. If encountering this problem, temporarily disabling mods may resolve the issue. If the problem persists, attempting to "View" multiple displays across different museums might offer a workaround. Hopefully, EA will address this bug soon.
