Tears of Themis Unveils Desert Ballad Event with Alluring MR Cards

HoYoverse's Tears of Themis unveils its latest update: "Ballad of the Dunes," a captivating collaboration with Gansu Province's Culture & Tourism. This crossover event seamlessly blends the game's detective elements with the rich cultural heritage of Dunhuang, a historic city bordering the Gobi Desert.

Ballad of the Dunes: A Journey Through Time

This event offers a unique blend of history, romance, and mystery, immersing players in the captivating atmosphere of the ancient Silk Road. Key additions include:

• Four New MR Cards: Featuring Luke, Artem, Vyn, and Marius, each card is inspired by distinct aspects of Dunhuang's culture, showcasing elements like flying apsaras, intricate murals, and the traditional pipa. The artistic style mirrors the ancient performers depicted in the Mogao Caves.

• Unique Card Stories: Each card – Luke's "In the Footsteps of Silk," Artem's "Serenade of the Soul," Vyn's "Reverberation Through Time," and Marius's "Void of Creation" – presents a distinct narrative, enhanced by Private Messages that delve into a thousand-year-old journey.

Rewards Await!

From February 13th to 20th, 2025, players can earn Camel Bells, S-Chips, and other rewards by completing event tasks. A central gameplay mechanic involves uncovering rewards by flipping cells on a game board. The ultimate prize is the choice of one of the four new Ballad of the Dunes MR cards per round. Completing 100 cell flips unlocks the exclusive Celebration – Dunes Namecard.
