Time-Travel Epic: Assassin

Reverse: 1999 and Assassin's Creed are teaming up! The tactical RPG is set to release its Version 2.2 update on January 9th, and with it comes an exciting crossover event with the popular Assassin's Creed franchise.

The Crossover Details (So Far)

This collaboration draws inspiration from two major Assassin's Creed titles: Assassin's Creed II and Assassin's Creed Odyssey. Expect to explore the Renaissance Italy of Ezio Auditore and the ancient Greece of Kassandra.

The teaser trailer, shown below, features Reverse: 1999's Timekeeper, Vertin, encountering the iconic Assassin's Creed logo.

Beyond the teaser, specifics are scarce. Ubisoft and Reverse: 1999 are currently focused on the two-phase rollout of the Version 2.2 update, "Twilight in the Southern Hemisphere," running until February 20th.

More details on the Assassin's Creed crossover are anticipated towards the end of January or early February, likely commencing after the Version 2.2 events conclude.

Why This Collaboration Matters

This partnership between Reverse: 1999 and a major AAA franchise like Assassin's Creed represents a significant step for the tactical RPG. If you enjoy time travel, magic, and the stealthy world of assassins, this crossover is definitely one to watch.
