With the launch of Animus Hub, Ubisoft is set to streamline access to the entire Assassin's Creed franchise. This new control center will debut alongside Assassin's Creed Shadows, serving as a central hub for all the series' titles. Just like Battlefield and Call of Duty, which also use similar strategies to enhance player engagement, Animus Hub will allow fans to easily start playing Assassin's Creed Origins, Odyssey, Valhalla, Mirage, and the upcoming Hexe.
One of the exciting features of Animus Hub is the introduction of special missions called Anomalies, which will be a key component of Assassin's Creed Shadows. Completing these missions will grant players rewards such as cosmetics or in-game currency, which can be used to acquire new guises and weapons, enhancing the gaming experience.
Beyond gameplay, Animus Hub will provide additional content like journals, notes, and other historical materials from the Assassin's Creed universe. This content will offer fans a deeper insight into the series' modern storylines and the connections between different parts of the franchise, enriching the overall narrative experience.
In Assassin's Creed Shadows, players will dive into the world of feudal Japan, immersing themselves in the intrigue and conflicts of the samurai era. The game is scheduled to premiere on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S on March 20, 2025.
