Focus Entertainment and Saber Interactive announced on Focus’s official website on March 13, 2025, that development for Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 3 has begun. Deputy CEO of Focus Entertainment Publishing John Bert and Saber Interactive CEO Matthew Karch shared their insights on the current status of the franchise and what the future holds following their announcement.

Bert expressed excitement, stating, "Today, we are thrilled to announce that the adventure will continue with Space Marine 3. Players can look forward to an immersive campaign, a multiplayer mode, and innovations that will set new standards for third-person action games." He added, "Developed in close collaboration with Games Workshop, Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 3 will elevate the genre with large-scale battles that are even more spectacular."

Karch elaborated, "We are now embarking on the development of Space Marine 3, a game that comes with immense expectations from our rapidly growing fanbase." He continued, "While we will continue to support and expand the Space Marine 2 universe in the coming years, we will apply all our learnings to create an even bigger and more spectacular experience for the third installment. We see this as an opportunity to craft a true tribute to the Warhammer 40,000 universe."
