Alien Movies in (Chronological) Order

1. AVP: Alien vs. Predator (2004)

The story of the Xenomorphs begins, chronologically, with the first of the two crossover films, AVP: Alien vs. Predator. Directed by Paul W. S. Anderson, known for Resident Evil and Event Horizon, this film, set in 2004, introduces the epic clash between the Xenomorphs and the Predators, known as the Yautja. It reveals that Predators have been visiting Earth for millennia, where ancient cults would sacrifice humans to the Xenomorph Queen's facehuggers, allowing the Predators to hunt the "ultimate prey." Unfortunately, their 2004 hunting trip goes awry.

2. Aliens vs Predator: Requiem (2007)

Continuing in the present day, and thus before the main Alien series, Aliens vs Predator: Requiem is a direct sequel to AVP. It follows the aftermath of the previous film, where an Alien-Predator hybrid, the "Predalien," wreaks havoc in a small Colorado town. A seasoned Predator is dispatched to rectify the situation, leading to a gory showdown. This marks the end of the Alien-Predator crossover films.
