Wicked Genshin Impact bug allows you to deal terrible, terrible damage to bosses

Genshin Impact players eagerly awaiting the 5.4 update can currently exploit a surprising tactic to effortlessly defeat even the toughest bosses. This unexpected strategy leverages the Hydro Traveler, a character often deemed a weak DPS option, to achieve incredible results.

The method, surprisingly straightforward, involves the Hydro Traveler's Elemental Burst and the Xiao Lanterns obtainable during the Lantern Rite Festival. By strategically placing numerous Xiao Lanterns near a boss and activating the Elemental Burst, players witness a dramatic reduction in the boss's health.

This phenomenon stems from the Elemental Burst's amplified AoE damage when interacting with objects. Deploying a large number of lanterns (hundreds, for example) can generate millions of damage points.

While this exploit is undoubtedly temporary and likely to be patched in a future update, it currently provides a remarkably easy way to overcome challenging boss encounters.
