Windows-powered Lenovo's Legion Go S opens for preorders

The Lenovo Legion Go S, a Windows-powered handheld gaming PC, is now available for preorder at Best Buy for $729.99, launching February 14th. This purchase includes a free month of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.

This updated model boasts a lighter, more rounded design compared to its predecessor, eliminating the detachable controllers. While the Windows version is available for preorder, a SteamOS variant will launch in May at a lower price point.

IGN's Jacqueline Thomas, after experiencing the Legion Go S at CES 2025, praised its comfortable feel, even with its large screen. The smooth, rounded edges and textured grips contribute to a secure and comfortable hand-held experience. The 1200p LCD panel with a 120Hz refresh rate received high praise for its vibrant visuals and clarity.
