The popular digital board game, Ticket to Ride, is expanding its railway empire with the new Switzerland expansion. This exciting addition introduces country-to-country and city-to-country routes, opening up a whole new strategic landscape for players. This holiday season update also includes two new player characters and four new train tokens, making it a perfect gift for Ticket to Ride enthusiasts. Developer Marmalade Games designed the expansion to be enjoyable for both seasoned players and newcomers, promoting dynamic gameplay.

The new country-to-country tickets require you to connect one nation to another, presenting multiple connection choices with varying point values. For example, you might connect France to Germany, Italy, or Austria, each offering a different reward. City-to-country tickets function similarly, but require connecting a city to a country.

Strategic planning is key, as each country has a limited number of connection points. Successful route completion earns points based on the ticket's highest-scoring connection, while failing to connect incurs a penalty based on the lowest value.
