Hearthstone Update: Tropical Adventure 'Perils in Paradise' Arrives July

Azeroth is heating up! Hearthstone's next expansion, Perils in Paradise, arrives July 23rd, bringing a tropical getaway and exciting new mechanics. Get ready for sun, sand, and a brand-new keyword!

Hearthstone Goes Tropical: Perils in Paradise

This summer, escape to The Marin, a luxurious new resort in Azeroth. Expect sunny skies, sandy beaches, and the introduction of the "Tourist" keyword – a revolutionary feature that lets you add cards from other classes to your deck during construction. Each class receives its own unique Tourist card. While only two have been revealed, the excitement is building! Check out the announcement trailer below:

So far, we've seen Sunsapper Lynessa (a Rogue Tourist for Paladin, focusing on inexpensive spells) and Buttons (a Shaman Tourist who draws spells from all schools of magic). Expect each class to get its own uniquely powerful Tourist.

Perils in Paradise adds 145 new cards, including drink-themed spells (castable three times) and game-changing Location cards with conditional effects. The fun starts now! Log in to receive a free legendary card: Marin the Manager.

Battlegrounds and Duos get a "Buddy" system, with 12 new Buddies and updates to 23 existing ones. The Perils in Paradise Mega Bundle ($79.99) includes 80 Perils in Paradise packs, a random Golden Legendary, a random Signature Legendary, 10 Golden Perils in Paradise packs, the Hakkar the Houndmaster card back, and hero skin.
