Disney Pixel RPG: Nostalgic Adventure Unveiled

GungHo Entertainment, the creators of the crossover card battler Teppen, is developing a retro-style RPG in collaboration with Disney. This new title, Disney Pixel RPG, features a vast roster of pixel-art Disney characters.

Players will recruit and battle with iconic Disney characters across multiple game worlds, each presenting unique "battle, action, and rhythm" challenges. The game allows character creation and customization, offering both auto-battler gameplay and opportunities for direct control. The storyline revolves around combating mysterious programs that have infiltrated the pixelated Disney worlds.

A Retro Revival

This isn't GungHo's first foray into large-franchise crossover games. Given Disney's extensive library of films and franchises, this collaboration promises an even more expansive character pool. Disney Pixel RPG is expected to launch later this year, with pre-registration open for iOS and Android devices.
