As *Rainbow Six Siege* celebrates a decade in the gaming world, Ubisoft is ushering in a new chapter with the highly anticipated release of *Siege X*. This update draws parallels to the transition from *CS:GO* to *CS2*, promising a fresh experience for both veteran players and newcomers alike.

*Siege X* is scheduled to launch on June 10th, marking a monumental shift as the game transitions to a free-to-play model, opening its doors to all gamers worldwide.

Key Updates in *Siege X*

  • New Mode: Dual Front - In this 6v6 match format, attack and defense operators merge into one cohesive team. The objective is to capture enemy zones and deploy sabotage devices. Each team is assigned three zones, with one large neutral area. Players respawn 30 seconds after being eliminated.
  • Advanced Rappel System - Players now have the ability to rappel both vertically and horizontally, adding a new layer of strategy to their movements.
  • Increased Environmental Destruction - The trailer highlighted new destructible elements such as fire extinguishers and gas pipes, offering even more opportunities for tactical gameplay.
  • Reworked Maps - Five popular maps are receiving significant overhauls to enhance gameplay and balance.
  • Graphical & Audio Enhancements - Ubisoft is implementing a comprehensive visual and audio upgrade, ensuring a more immersive experience.
  • Improved Anti-Cheat & Toxicity Measures - Developers are enhancing the anti-cheat system and addressing toxic behavior within the community.

In preparation for the launch, Ubisoft has announced a closed beta event, lasting seven days, exclusively available to players who stream *Rainbow Six Siege* content.
