Expand your domain by strategically drawing lines, but beware – cutting your own line or being cut by an opponent means starting over. Scattered across the map are powerful totems, each offering unique advantages to aid your quest for supremacy. How much territory can you claim? Prove your strategic prowess in this addictive land-grabbing game!
GAMEPLAY INSTRUCTIONS
Use your mouse to navigate the map. Extend your territory by drawing a line, claiming new hexagonal tiles. Returning to your initial territory closes the loop, securing all enclosed tiles.
However, venturing outside your territory exposes you to risk. If another player intercepts your line, you're cut off and must begin again.
To achieve Hexanaut status, conquer at least 20% of the map. Maintaining this dominance for two minutes secures your victory! Important note: elimination while another player holds Hexanaut status results in game over.
CONQUER THE TOTEMS
Five distinct totems await capture in Hexanaut.io. Strategic acquisition of these powerful artifacts is key to victory. Each totem provides unique benefits:

Spreading Totem: This totem directly expands your territory by emitting lasers that claim tiles, especially beneficial in the early game.

Speed Totem: Grants a 5% speed boost. Accumulating multiple speed totems significantly enhances your maneuverability.

Teleporting Gate: Provides instant transportation across your territory, saving valuable time and allowing for strategic flanking maneuvers against opponents.
