The original VR game debuted on PlayStation VR2 and PCVR via Steam in December 2024, followed by a release on Meta Quest 3 in February. Now, with the Evolved Edition, players who prefer traditional gaming setups can join the adventure.

You play as Zula, searching for a former squadmate, when a sudden attack leaves you and your Synthetic companion, Davis 01, stranded in the eerie Castor’s Cradle research facility run by Gemini Exoplanet Solutions. Expect intense action, terrifying encounters with Xenomorphs, and a deep, mysterious narrative.

IGN's review of the VR version scored it a 7/10, stating, "Alien: Rogue Incursion is a compelling first crack at bringing Alien to VR with lots of room to grow."
