Castle Doombad Invades Android: Slay Evil for Free!

Castle Doombad is back and better than ever! Now available on Android as "Castle Doombad: Free To Slay," this tower defense strategy game, originally released in 2014 by Grumpyface Studios and published by Yodo1, is ready to unleash your inner villain.

Grumpyface, known for hits like Steven Universe: Attack the Light and Teeny Titans, initially planned a single Castle Doombad remake. However, they cleverly divided the project into two: "Free To Slay" for mobile and "Castle Doombad Classic," a remastered version with updated content, launching later this year on Nintendo Switch and Steam. A sequel, Castle Doombad 2: Muahaha!, is also in development.

Unleash Your Inner Evil!

In "Castle Doombad: Free To Slay," you'll build a wicked lair, defend it from heroic do-gooders, and revel in your villainous success. Forget the usual heroics; traps and minions are your arsenal!

Check out the game trailer below:

This free-to-play game (with ads and optional in-app purchases) includes the original 70 stages, daily challenges, endless modes, over 30 unlockable and upgradeable traps, and 100+ collectible items. A customizable cosmetic system, "spoils," lets you decorate your Dark Lord's lair with evil artifacts, and "Baddie Bonus" perks add strategic depth.

A new roguelite mode, "Dr. Lord Evilstein's Roguevenge," features randomly generated castle layouts and collectible Nightmares, providing unique powers and abilities. Download it now from the Google Play Store!
