Celebrating Monster Hunter's 20th anniversary, Capcom's action-RPG series teams up with Digimon! The result? The "Digimon COLOR Monster Hunter 20th Edition" V-Pet device.
To mark Monster Hunter's two-decade milestone, a special Digimon COLOR device is launching. This limited edition features designs based on Rathalos and Zinogre, priced at 7,700 Yen (approximately $53.2 USD) plus shipping and handling.
Each device boasts a color LCD screen, UV printing, and a rechargeable battery. Gamers can enjoy customizable backgrounds and the convenient "Cold Mode," which temporarily freezes monster growth, hunger, and strength. A backup system ensures saved progress is secure.
Pre-orders are currently open through Bandai's official Japanese online store. Please be aware that these are Japan-only releases, and international shipping will incur additional costs.
Currently, there are no announcements regarding a global release. Demand is high, with the devices selling out shortly after the announcement. The first pre-order window closes today, November 1st, at 11:00 p.m. JST (7:00 a.m. PT / 10:00 a.m. ET). Follow the Digimon Web Twitter (X) account for updates on future pre-order opportunities. The official release date is slated for April 2025.
