China has approved the release of the Genshin Impact, GTA and ZZZ hybrid

Project Mugen, now titled Ananta, is nearing its full release after generating significant buzz with its initial promotional materials. The game blends elements reminiscent of popular titles like Genshin Impact, Zenless Zone Zero, and even GTA, all presented within a captivating anime aesthetic.

Ananta's launch in China is confirmed for 2025 across PC, PlayStation 5, and mobile platforms. A December 5th trailer showcased the game as an open-world urban RPG, placing players in the role of an A.C.D. agent investigating the mysteries of the sun-kissed coastal city of Nova.

The ambitious project is a collaborative effort between NetEase Studios, Thunder Fire Studio, and Naked Rain. Its global appeal stems from a familiar mix of environments infused with a compelling supernatural twist.

Key features highlighted for Ananta include four-player team-based battles, a distinctive art style, and fluid, high-speed movement.
