Longtime readers will likely recall our previous coverage of the comedic point-and-click adventure, There is No Game. It recently resurfaced as a free title on the Epic Games Store, and now we can anticipate a fresh spin-off: Crushed in Time!
Describing the creations of developer Draw Me a Pixel is challenging, as Stephen aptly noted, we're dealing with 'quirkiness of the highest order.' However, Crushed in Time appears to adopt a somewhat more straightforward approach—or at the very least, less mind-bending than playing a game that technically isn't a game.
In any case, Crushed in Time marks the return of Holmes and Watson, who made a brief appearance in one segment of There is No Game. This time, the duo is investigating nothing less than the development of their entire release, leaping between different stages of the production process.

What's your mission? Locate a missing character from the recently launched game to restore order. Given this is from Draw me a Pixel, however, it likely won't be nearly as straightforward as it sounds—but it will be just as entertaining.
Crushed in Time features the same point-and-click adventure gameplay as the original There is No Game. Yet, instead of relying on traditional inventory puzzles, you'll uncover new interactive possibilities with various objects and solve puzzles through more intuitive means.
Scheduled for release in 2026 on mobile and PC, Crushed in Time promises to be every bit as delightfully wacky as its predecessor, if not equally astonishing.
