Arc System Works is revamping Guilty Gear Strive with a brand-new 3v3 Team Mode. This innovative mode allows for six-player team battles, creating dynamic strategic gameplay and unique character synergies. Season 4 also welcomes back classic characters Dizzy and Venom from Guilty Gear X, alongside the introduction of Unika from Guilty Gear -Strive- Dual Rulers, and a truly unexpected guest: Lucy from Cyberpunk: Edgerunners.
This season blends classic Guilty Gear action with innovative gameplay and a surprising crossover, offering something for both veteran and new players.
The 3v3 Team Mode is a game-changer. Teams of three players face off, creating intense strategic battles. This format emphasizes team composition, exploiting character strengths and minimizing weaknesses. Each character will also possess a unique "Break-In" – a powerful special move usable only once per match.
Currently, the 3v3 mode is in Open Beta, providing players a chance to experience the new mode and offer feedback.

Season 4's biggest surprise? Lucy from Cyberpunk: Edgerunners! Marking the first guest character in Guilty Gear Strive, Lucy's technical fighting style will incorporate her cybernetic enhancements and netrunning abilities. Expect her to join the fray in 2025. This collaboration follows CD Projekt Red's previous crossover success with Geralt of Rivia in Soul Calibur VI.
