Fox shared his excitement, saying, "So, we made a very small SPECIAL ROOM which takes advantage of using MOUSE CONTROLS ON TWO CONTROLLERS AT ONCE, only possible on the Nintendo Switch 2!!" This feature promises a unique gameplay experience exclusive to the Switch 2.

For those playing on non-Switch 2 devices, fear not—the SPECIAL ROOM will still be accessible, albeit with a different control scheme. Moreover, players can transfer their save files from the Nintendo Switch demo of Deltarune 1 and 2 to the new version, ensuring a seamless transition.

Deltarune Future Chapters Will Be Free

Toby Fox also shed light on the pricing and future content of Deltarune. The game will be available for $24.99 and will include Chapters 1 through 4. Originally, Chapter 1 was released in 2018 and Chapter 2 in 2021, both offered for free. While it was previously announced that Chapters 3 through 5 would be paid, Fox has now confirmed that all upcoming chapters will be added as free updates. This means that once you purchase Deltarune, you'll receive all future chapters at no extra cost.
