Aladdin’s Friendship Quests in Disney Dreamlight Valley

Aladdin's first request is a simple one: a photo op with his magic carpet! Equip the Carpet as a companion from your wardrobe, then snap a selfie to complete the "Carpet Diem" quest, starting your Agrabah adventure.

Good As Gold (Level 2 Friendship)

Level up Aladdin with his favorite gifts to unlock "Good As Gold." Aladdin needs your help casing Scrooge McDuck's shop to test his new security system. First, chat with Scrooge, then take photos within his shop, capturing: the vault door, both staircases (aim for wide shots to cover multiple requirements). Afterward, talk to Aladdin. He'll suggest dark, sporty attire (optional, but recommended for nighttime ambiance).

Inside the shop, press the big red button to activate Scrooge's security system. This transforms the shop, revealing light pools and buttons. Experiment to learn how they control the lights. The goal is to navigate downstairs and reach the button near the counter without triggering the lights. A suggested sequence: center button, back right wall buttons (to turn off two upstairs lights), button above the right staircase, button above the left staircase, and finally, the center button again. Downstairs, use the button on the right counter, followed by the left counter button, before speaking with Aladdin in front of the vault.

Coins will appear. Collect all four by gliding and interacting with them. Give these to Aladdin. More coins have escaped into Dreamlight Valley—collect the nine scattered around your house. Give the remaining coins to Aladdin. Finally, take a photo with Aladdin and the gold pile, then chat with both him and Scrooge to complete the quest.

Bring Your Own Carpet (Level 4 Friendship)

Aladdin wants a Dreamlight Magic Carpet! Talk to Merlin, who directs you to the Dreamlight Library for three books: Fabric Enchantment, Carpet Weaving, and Flying Technique (located near the back left book pile, back right shelf, and left of the central desk). Give these books to Aladdin.

He'll then send you to Minnie for crafting supplies: 4 Dream Shards, 4 Blue Hydrangeas (Dazzle Beach), 4 Purple Bell Flowers (Forest of Valor), and 25 Fiber (Kristoff's stall or crafting). Bring these supplies to Aladdin’s house. Once he's crafted the carpet, interact with it to make it fly. Aladdin will then lead you on a guided tour, using the carpet as a glider. You'll need full energy to use it.

Equip the Dreamlight Magic Carpet and follow the tour route: Plaza banner, left towards Forest of Valor, across the forest, right down to Dazzle Beach, immediately right up the ramp into Peaceful Meadow, left down to Dazzle Beach, left across the bridge, and finally, right to the pier’s end. Complete the tour by speaking to Aladdin. Remember, the carpet functions as a glider, so obstacles will still affect your flight.

All That Glitters (Level 7 Friendship)

At Friendship Level 7, Aladdin needs help creating a magnificent bouquet for Jasmine. Gather 4 yellow and 6 purple flowers and give them to Aladdin. He'll then reveal a quest to find treasure mentioned in a scroll from Scrooge.

The scroll mentions "the mermaid’s isle." Travel to Ariel's island. Find the Golden Sun Piece (upper right peninsula), insert it into the tall rock, then dig up the buried box (north of the rock), fish up the pillar piece (near the raft), and open the barrel. Interact with the Pillar, then take a photo.

Talk to Maui, Ariel, and Rapunzel about the Pillar. Return to Ariel's island, where Jasmine will help decipher the Pillar's symbols. The Golden Sun Piece provides a clue: “From the tiniest seed, water creates blooms as tall as golden towers.” Rotate the Pillar pieces to show water, a seed, and a flower. Collect the treasure and give it to Aladdin to complete the quest.

Rewards from Aladdin’s Friendship Path in Disney Dreamlight Valley
