Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero has been rated for Nintendo Switch 2, hinting at its arrival on the new console even before an official announcement. While we're still waiting for confirmation that this game, inspired by Akira Toriyama's beloved anime and manga series, will grace the Switch 2, a now-deleted tweet from the Saudi General Authority of Media Regulation, as spotted by the Gaming Leaks and Rumours subreddit, seems to confirm it.

"Experience the fighting action in the latest game Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero. Available on Nintendo Switch 2, featuring 3D battles and storylines that change based on your choices," the tweet stated before its removal, indicating a secured 12+ rating.

Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero elevates the legendary gameplay of the Budokai Tenkaichi series to new heights, offering an astounding array of playable characters, each with their unique abilities, transformations, and techniques.

In our IGN Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero review, we awarded it a 7/10, noting, "Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero is a final flash from the past, sometimes to a fault, but the feeling of traveling back to a simpler time when games didn’t have to be balanced or competitive to be fun is still a good one."

Nintendo Switch 2 pre-orders commenced on April 24, with the price set at $449.99 — and they sold out as quickly as you might expect. On the same day, Nintendo issued a warning to U.S. customers who applied for a Switch 2 pre-order from the My Nintendo Store, indicating that release date delivery was not guaranteed due to overwhelming demand.
