"EA Sports FC Mobile to Stream Select MLS Matches"

EA Sports FC Mobile continues to grow from strength to strength, much like its console counterpart. Despite losing the FIFA license, EA has swiftly formed new partnerships, including one that allows players to watch select Major League Soccer (MLS) matches directly through the game.

Thanks to an agreement between EA, the MLS, and Apple TV+, fans can enjoy live simulcasts of upcoming matches via the in-game FCM TV Portal. A companion Football Centre provides real-time updates on global football events. While the MLS may not match the global reach of FIFA, there are still thrilling matchups to enjoy, such as LA Galaxy vs. New York Red Bulls (May 10th) and Atlanta United FC vs. Philadelphia Union (May 17th). As an added incentive, players will earn in-game currency simply for tuning in.

This collaboration highlights EA's ambition to expand beyond traditional football leagues. By rewarding viewers and allowing them to play real-world matchups in-game, EA is fostering deeper engagement. Although the final two matches of this partnership won't arrive until September, the initial offerings promise excitement.
