It seems we can forget about explicit sex scenes in inZOI

The lead developers of the upcoming life simulation game, inZOI, recently engaged with fans to address various curiosities about the game's content. A particularly intriguing topic was the depiction of sexual intercourse within the game. The assistant director provided a notably ambiguous response, carefully avoiding the explicit mention of "sex." The essence of their statement suggested that when a male ZOI and a female ZOI retreat to bed together, the implication is that they are engaging in the act of procreation. However, the visual representation of this process is left to the player's imagination, leaving much to speculation.

Perhaps that’s exactly what’s happening, but not at the level everyone expected.

This vagueness has left players wondering whether inZOI will handle these scenes similarly to the well-known The Sims series, with its characteristic censorship, or if it will introduce a fresh approach to the topic.

Furthermore, the developers shed light on another aspect of the game's visual style—the decision for ZOIs to shower while wearing towels rather than using pixelated censorship. This choice was influenced by the game's more realistic graphics, where pixelation might appear overly sexualized and out of place. Additionally, a technical issue was cited; when a naked ZOI with pixelated censorship approached a mirror, the blurring effect would fail to appear in the reflection, which led to this design decision.
