Reliable sources suggest Fortnite is adding a new Wolverine skin based on his iconic Weapon X appearance. Fortnite has a history of collaborations with Marvel, featuring numerous X-Men characters like Gambit, Rogue, Mystique, and Magneto. Wolverine himself debuted in Chapter 2, Season 4, with several outfits already available.

This new addition, the Weapon X skin, is rumored to be part of a five-item cosmetic set. Leaks from prominent Fortnite dataminers Shiina and HYPEX point to a potential release date between June 28th and July 2nd, 2024, with another prediction suggesting July 5th, 2024. These dates are unconfirmed, but both sources anticipate an early July release.

The Weapon X outfit is a significant addition, referencing Wolverine's origins as a government experiment resulting in an adamantium skeleton and primal instincts. This look has appeared in various media, including X-Men Legends and Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3.

While the Weapon X skin is the primary focus, other rumored Marvel crossovers include a possible Galactus return in Chapter 5, Season 4. However, Epic Games has yet to officially confirm any of these leaks.
