The latest beta build for Version 5.4 has enriched the Event Banners for the upcoming patch in Genshin Impact, unveiling more information on which 4-Star characters will accompany Mizuki, Wriothesley, Sigewinne, and Furina. As Version 5.3 concludes the Archon Quest in Natlan, Version 5.4 will transport players back to Inazuma. Though it won't expand the map, its Flagship Event will focus on Inazuma's yokai, prominently featuring Yae Miko and Ei.
The highlight of Version 5.4 is undoubtedly Yumemizuki Mizuki, a new 5-Star Anemo Catalyst from Inazuma. As a Standard Banner character, her Signature Weapon is expected to generate significant interest. Mizuki's ability kit can be likened to a healing version of Sucrose. Despite critiques of her passive rotation, consistent buffs throughout beta testing have enhanced her appeal.
Thanks to HomDCCat's diligent datamining, Genshin Impact enthusiasts can now anticipate the majority of 4-Star characters slated for the Version 5.4 Event Banners. The first half of the version will feature Wriothesley and Mizuki, while the second half will spotlight Sigewinne and Furina. The 4-Star characters expected to join them are Mika, Gorou, Sayu, and Chongyun. Rumors suggest an Inazuma Chronicled Banner might debut in this patch, though confirmation or denial is likely to come during the developer livestream.
Note that the 4-Star characters listed are not in order. If an Inazuma Chronicled Banner is introduced, Gorou and Sayu would likely appear in the phase where the Chronicled Banner isn't active. Given the alternating pattern of the Chronicled Banner's placement in past versions, both scenarios are feasible. Mika stands out as the most valuable character in this lineup, synergizing well with both Furina and Wriothesley.
As for speculation on the remaining spots on the Event Banners, many players are eager for Charlotte's return, absent since her debut in Version 4.2 and missing from Furina's rerun in Version 4.7. Noelle, who complements both Furina and Gorou, might also feature in the second half. While there are stronger 4-Star options, this setup offers Sayu, Mika, and Gorou much-needed reruns on the Event Banners.
