Genshin Impact is set to enhance the endgame experience with the introduction of four new Thespian Tricks at the Imaginarium Theater in Version 5.4. This update, as revealed by the latest beta build, features unique poses for Barbara, Sethos, Chiori, and Baizhu. The Imaginarium Theater, which represents half of the endgame content in Genshin Impact, differs from the Spiral Abyss by requiring a horizontal investment in diverse characters rather than a vertical focus on team building.
To successfully navigate the monthly challenges of the Imaginarium Theater, players must have a well-rounded roster of characters spanning various Elements. Each month, the Theater limits players to using only three Elements, with some exceptions, and offers cosmetic rewards for those who can conquer its Acts. These rewards include Envisaged Echoes and Thespian Tricks.
A screenshot from the beta servers, courtesy of Firefly Leaks, has given fans a sneak peek at the upcoming Thespian Tricks for Version 5.4. The poses for Barbara, Sethos, Chiori, and Baizhu are showcased. Notably, Chiori, who recently had a rerun in Version 5.1, and Baizhu, who will be available in the new Chronicled Banner, are among the featured characters.
Chiori's new pose is particularly striking and is expected to be a hit among fans who have the Thundering Seamstress in their roster. Chiori is a valuable long-term investment, especially with a full set of Constellations, as her power rivals that of Mualani and Arlecchino. While traditionally used in Mono Geo teams, Chiori has also proven effective alongside Navia and in off-field Double Geo cores with Zhongli.
Although Version 5.4 may seem modest compared to the current update, with no new map expansions, Archon Quests, or Artifact Domains, it will include a significant Flagship Event set in Inazuma, fulfilling a long-standing player request. Additionally, Version 5.4 will introduce Yumemizuki Mizuki, a 5-star Anemo Catalyst, who will feature in both the Flagship Event and her own Story Quest. The release of Version 5.4 is scheduled for February 12, 2025.
