Halo Infinite Community Devs Release PvE Mode That Takes a Page From Helldivers 2's Playbook

The Forge Falcons, a Halo-focused community development studio, has released a new PvE mode for Halo Infinite, drawing inspiration from Helldivers 2.

The Forge Falcons Unleashes Helldivers 2-Inspired PvE Mode in Halo Infinite

Available Now on Xbox and PC!

Halo community developers, The Forge Falcons, have launched "Helljumpers," a free, player-created PvE mode for Halo Infinite. This "Helldivers 2 mode," available now in Early Access for Xbox and PC via Halo Infinite Custom Games, offers a unique twist on the military sci-fi shooter.

Built within Halo Infinite's Forge mapmaking tool, Helljumpers is a 4-player cooperative experience inspired by Arrowhead Game Studios' 2024 hit, Helldivers 2. It features custom-designed strategies, a detailed new urban map with randomized objectives, and a progression system mirroring Helldivers 2's upgrade unlocks.

Helljumpers drops players into the battlefield six times per game, similar to Helldivers. Before each deployment, players choose their loadouts from a selection of weapons including Assault Rifles, Sidekick pistols, and more. These weapons can be respawned at the dropship. Players can also upgrade their characters with perks enhancing health, damage, and speed. To complete a mission, players must achieve one story objective and two main objectives before extraction.
