Hasbro Unveils G.I. Joe Cold Slither Heavy Metal Box Set

IGN is thrilled to offer an exclusive first look at Hasbro's latest addition to the G.I. Joe Classified line, and it's nothing short of spectacular. This new box set introduces Cobra villain Zartan and his Dreadnoks, transformed into the heavy metal band Cold Slither, complete with a full rockstar aesthetic.

The G.I. Joe Classified: Dreadnoks Cold Slither - Band of Vipers action figure set draws inspiration from a memorable episode of G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero. The Cold Slither set features meticulously detailed 6-inch figures of Zartan, Ripper, Buzzer, and Torch, all styled for the Band of Vipers World Tour concert. Accompanying the figures are an impressive 29 accessories, including various musical instruments such as a guitar, bass, keytar, and drum set. Even the packaging is designed to replicate the Springfield Theater, adding to the immersive experience.

This exclusive box set will be available for purchase at San Diego Comic-Con, scheduled from July 24-27, 2025. Limited quantities will also be offered post-event on the Hasbro Pulse website, ensuring fans who can't attend the convention still have a chance to grab this collectible.

For fans who enjoy a more nostalgic touch, Hasbro is collaborating with Super7 to introduce Cold Slither Zartan to Super7's ReAction+ line. This 3.75-inch figure, reminiscent of the classic A Real American Hero toys, features O-Ring construction and vintage-style packaging. It glows in the dark when exposed to UV light and comes with microphone and guitar accessories. The Cold Slither Zartan ReAction+ figure is priced at $20 and will be available for preorder on the Super7 website starting April 3 at 9:15am PT.

Hasbro is also embracing the musical theme by launching an actual Cold Slither album in collaboration with Reigning Phoenix Music. The official description of the Cold Slither album promises a thrilling experience:
