Winter has arrived in Honor of Kings, and with it comes the thrilling Snow Carnival event, set to run until January 8th. This event unfolds in multiple phases, offering players a chance to immerse themselves in seasonal festivities and battle it out on a frost-covered battlefield. From limited-time challenges to exclusive rewards, the Snow Carnival is packed with exciting content for players to enjoy over the coming weeks.
The Snow Carnival event progresses in several phases to keep the excitement alive. Currently, the Glacial Twisters phase is underway, where players must skillfully navigate through icy tornadoes that impact movement and positioning. Additionally, you can challenge the Snow Overlord and Snow Tyrant for a chance to inflict an extra freeze effect upon victory.
Come December 12th, the second phase will introduce the Ice Path effect. During this phase, players can summon the Shadow Vanguard, a hero capable of freezing enemies in their path. The hero's Ice Burst skill will also be available, triggering an ice explosion that deals Area of Effect (AoE) damage and slows down opponents.
The third and final phase, the River Sled event, starts on December 24th. By defeating the river sprite, players can earn a sled that provides a speed boost during retreats. For a more relaxed experience, the Snow Carnival also offers two casual modes: Snowy Brawl and Snowy Race.
Beyond the frosty battles, the Snow Carnival is loaded with reward-focused events. The Zero-Cost Purchase event offers valuable items, including skins, through daily selections. Engaging in tasks such as Mutual Help and the Scoreboard Challenge provides players with opportunities to earn exclusive cosmetics like Liu Bei’s Funky Toymaker skin and the highly sought-after Everything Box.
In addition to the in-game festivities, Honor of Kings has unveiled a sneak peek of its 2025 esports calendar. From regional tournaments to global showdowns, there's plenty to anticipate next year. The third season of the Honor of Kings Invitational is set to commence in February in the Philippines, promising numerous thrilling challenges for participants.
