Gacha game enthusiasts are always keen on tracking the financial performance of their favorite titles, and the figures for January 2025 have just been revealed, showcasing some remarkable trends.
Last month, Genshin Impact rolled out a significant update featuring the Pyro Archon, with the banner spotlighting Mawuika drawing considerable attention. According to the latest data, this hit from miHoYo (HoYoverse) saw its revenue soar to $99.4 million, effectively doubling its earnings from December 2024's $45.6 million.

In the rankings, Pokemon TCG secured the second spot with $64 million in earnings, while the popular "female gacha" game, Love and Deepspace, clinched third place with $55.2 million.
On the other hand, Honkai Star Rail experienced a dip in earnings, reporting $50.8 million, and Zenless Zone Zero saw its revenue cut in half, dropping from $57.9 million to $26.3 million.
It's important to note that these rankings only include revenues from mobile platforms, although some of these games, like those from miHoYo, are also available on PC. There's also a clarification on how the data is calculated: "Since Google Play does not exist in China, the estimates published for Android data in China are determined using a multiplier based on iOS revenue in the country."
